Hollywood

This is a picture of me with my puppet named Oliver. John and I went to some friend's house yesterday to film more scenes and commercials for our movie. The movie is called "Fashion of the Christ" a spoof of "Passion of the Christ". Oliver got to play Judas, and he did an Oscar winning performance. Hehehehe....This was my favorite picture that John took! :)

Somewhere Beyond the Sea

This is a picture of me, as a baby, with my dad and three older brothers.
Left to right: Chris, Michael, & Kevin.

My dad has been getting sick a lot lately. He was diagnosed a few months back with osteoporosis. Recently, skin cancer and a blood clot in the leg. He had two MRIs on Friday to rule out cancer and blood clots. Good news---no cancer! Bad news---blood clots on the lungs! He had a procedure done later on that Friday evening where they inserted a tube into the main artery through the neck that goes by his stomach. Something like that! The tube is suppose to eliminate blood clots and keep new ones from coming back. Thankfully, all of his problems have been caught early, so they are quickly taken care of but it still is hard to deal with. I'm not ready to lose my father! I won't ever be ready to lose the people I love even though it is a part of life. I just want my dad to be around long enough to enjoy his grandchildren and to be there to watch them grow. It is especially hard for me because John and I have been trying for 7 months now and so far nothing has worked. I just want to be a mom, and I want John to be a dad. I really need good things to start happening!

Here is the song lyrics from the band Modest Mouse.
I think it sums up what I'm feeling.

I backed my car into a cop car, the other day
Well he just drove off, sometimes life's ok
I ran my mouth off a bit too much, oh what can i say
Well you just laughed it off, it was all ok

And we'll all float on, ok
And we'll all float on, ok
And we'll all float on, ok
And we'll all float on any way, well

A fake Jamaican took every last dime with a scam
It was worth it just to learn from sleight-of-hand
Bad news comes don't you worry even when it lands
Good news will work its way to all them plans
We both got fired on exactly the same day
Well we'll float on, good news is on the way

And we'll all float on, ok
And we'll all float on, ok
And we'll all float on, ok
And we'll all float on, alright
Already we'll all float on
Now don't you worry we'll all float on
Alright already we'll all float on
Alright don't worry we'll all float on

Alright already and we'll all float on
Alright already we'll all float on
Alright don't worry even if things end up a bit too heavy
We'll all float on...alright
Already we'll all float on
Alright already we'll all float on
No please dont worry we'll all float on
Even if things get heavy, we'll all float on

Alright already we'll all float on
(Alright)
No dont you worry we'll all float on
(Alright)
All float on...

Troubled Waters

When you’re weary, feeling small,
When tears are in your eyes, I will dry them all;
I’m on your side. when times get rough
And friends just can’t be found,
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.

When you’re down and out,
When you’re on the street,
When evening falls so hard
I will comfort you.
I’ll take your part.
When darkness comes
And pains is all around,
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.

Sail on silvergirl,
Sail on by.
Your time has come to shine.
All your dreams are on their way.
See how they shine.
If you need a friend
I’m sailing right behind.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind.

Who Wants Hugs?

I DO!!!!!
Boo Boo sent me flowers with cute love bugs for Valentine's Day, and I gave him the box of chocolates and the sweet monkey named Huggy. If you haven't already guessed it, Huggy loves to give hugs. Hehehehehe....cute!

Boo Boo and I went to Red Lobster for Valentine's Day, and it was so good. Unfortunately, I was feeling crappy from having another annoying cold from working around diseased infested children on a daily basis. I'm feeling much better now, but my chest is still feeling tight and uncomfortable. It is always something! :(

Boo Boo and I are enjoying our new Gameboy Advances and Pikmin 2 on Gamecube. We are looking forward to a nice weekend--of course they are never long enough! I can't wait for our vacation, because I need one.

This is it! My moment of truth is about to be tested again. I have two glorious days to make some magic happen---lets hope that it does this time. :)

Here We Go Again....

It has been six months now, and I'm still not pregnant. Boo Boo and I will be trying again very soon. This time I'm using an ovulation kit to help me, and I'm practicing Yoga to help relax me. I'm hopeful these things will be to my advantage, but I'm not going to get my hopes up only to be disappointed again. We shall soon see! This Blog has been brought to you by Hopeful Yogi. :)

Estes Park Fun

Here is a picture of the Adventure Club Gang when we did the Old Time Photo in Estes Park. Look how cute my Boo Boo is! I'm the the one on the right next to the crazy woman (Janny) with the shotgun. I'm looking very dignified and above all these crazy hillbilly people wearing a floral hat. We had so much fun during our weekend adventures.

Feeling Yucky!

I've had a cold since Tuesday, and I hate it. I'm feeling a lot better than I did on Wednesday, but I'm still all stuffed up. I'm using this picture of Harmony to show how I am feeling. Yucky but almost back to normal! Darn stuffed up nose!

On another note, I'm excited about going to Estes Park next weekend with the AC Gang. It should be a lot of fun, and I'm almost done with my Interpetive Christmas present. I also get to experience the much talked about Glowstick game. John and I will be going up Friday morning with some of the collective few, and the rest will show up later in the day or on Saturday. It's going to be so nice only having a four day work week! :)

Kitty Love

Cimbi likes to love on Harmony, but I don't think he understands that his equipment no longer works. Harmony lets him only go so far and then she gets upset, and she usually ends the loving with a hiss and a swat. :)

Happy Times!

John & I have been together for three years! We went on our first date on this day, except it was a Saturday and not a Wednesday. On our very first date, we went to the Denver Dumb Friend's League to look at the cute kitties and puppies. Afterwards, we went to see "The Shipping News", and later we went to eat downtown at Pizza Colore. We got along so well that we went back to John's place and played video games and hung out. It was a special moment that started our great and wonderful relationship. Of course, we are now married and our official Anniversary is April 18th. However, we will always have this date that started it all!

Start Spreading the News......

Half of The NY Gang
Chris Calabro, Pam Blanco, Me, Chrissie Onofrio, and Boo Boo

John and I have made our official plans for our trip to New York! We are driving there, and we are leaving Colorado on May 5th. We should arrive in NY either late in the evening on the 6th or early in the morning on the 7th. We are very excited about seeing our NY family! I also get to meet Grandma Florida for the first time. I really hope I'm pregnant by then, because I would love to be able to share a part of that experience with our NY family. They live so far away it might be their only opportunity. It won't be long now until Boo Boo and I are Back...In the NY Groove!

Hello, It's Me!

I thought I would use a picture of my cat, Melody. Unfortunately, she is no longer with us, but I think the picture reflects how I feel at the current moment. Boo Boo and I have been trying to get pregnant for 5 months now and so far no luck. I haven't started my period yet this month. Tomorrow will be 32 days and normally I'm 27-29 days in between. Thinking maybe I'm pregnant, I go to the store and buy a pregnancy test. I took the test and it was negative. It hurts, because I feel like someone is playing a cruel joke on me. Each month I'll have signs that make me think I'm pregnant and than nothing. I thought this was the biggest sign of all--missed period, but no. I'm really trying to be postive and not let it get me down. I just wish the powers that be would stop getting my hopes up only to make me fall flat on my face with disappointment. I just want John and I to become parents---I don't think that is asking too much. I know I'm feeling sorry for myself, but it always makes me feel better to get my feelings out through words.

On a happier note, my Babo came in the mail today. Although Babo is cute and soft, he will never take the place of my Boo Boo. It is hard to put into words how much John does and will always mean to me. I love him so! No matter how many times I have to try---I will get pregnant!

Why I Love My Boo Boo So?

Why I Love My Boo Boo So?
His loving ways and happy smile,
Gives me love that goes on for miles.
His tender kisses and comforting hugs,
Grabs my heart with lots of warm tugs.
Boo Boo is so special to me!
I'm so glad he is meant to be--
The one I love forever more,
The one I can't stop loving more and more.

2005 is Finally Here!

Happy New Year!!!!
John and I had fun celebrating the new year with our friends, Jackie and Bonnie. We went to Johnny Carinos for dinner, and we went back to our house to watch movies and play games. We had a lot of fun! Now the new year begins and the resolutions start. My biggest one to accomplish is having a baby, but you can read all the details written below.

HAPPY NEW YEAR---2005!!!

"2005" is finally here! Well not really, since we have two more days but soon enough. I'm working on figuring out what I can do to make this year successful! My biggest goal for this year is to get pregnant. I really want a baby, and I want to be able to give Boo Boo a Baby Boo. John will be a great father, and I know we will be great parents for our future offspring.

Another goal I want to work on is doing more art. I've kind of slacked off in this area, and I want to change that. I already have one project I'm going to be working on for the Adveture Club Interpretive Christmas, but I need to do more.

I also want to give more to people and animals in need. This is a joint effort between Boo Boo and I. I know we can do this!

I also want to enjoy life more and not take things so seriously. It is a fault of mine, and I've been working on this for awhile. What can I say---I'm a work in progress!

I need to exercise more and stay in good shape, especially for Baby Boo. Unfortunately, that includes cutting way-way back on the sweets! I have to refrain from eating chocolate while I'm trying to get pregnant. Caffeine is in chocolate, and the experts say to cut back on caffeine when you are trying to get pregnant. I don't drink coffee or caffeinated soda so the only logical solution is to eliminate chocolate! So sad!

For now, that is all I can think of, but I think it is enough! If I come up with more to add I will...stayed tuned to see!!!

Ross Family Christmas 2004
Everyone got together on my side of the family for Christmas---It was very nice! I was so glad that my brother, Michael, could attend. He has distanced himself for several years away from the family, but it seems he is making a turn for the better.
In the picture above we have:

Middle from left to right: My dad holding Angel, Andy, Shannon(sister-in-law), James, & Chris
Bottom from left to right: Boo Boo & Yogi

Our 1st Christmas Married

Today is Christmas Eve, and Boo Boo and I are getting excited about opening our Christmas presents tomorrow. This is our third Christmas together, and I couldn't think of anyone else in the world that I rather spend Christmas with. I love my Boo Boo, and I love our little family we have with our cats. We hope that by next Christmas we can include a Baby Boo in the picture. Merry Christmas, Boo Boo!:)
