My Monthly Wish List

Each month I go through the same feelings----I want a baby! Anyone who has ever tried to have a baby knows all about the waiting game. Those two weeks of waiting to know whether I was successful or not is grueling. I've been going to the chiropracter, that helped my brother and sister-in-law get pregnant, for almost two weeks. My sister-in-law, who was told she would never have children, got pregnant after five months of chiropractic treatment. I'm trying to remain optomistic, but I am tired of having a breakdown every month when I get my period. I just want to be successful at getting pregnant and having a baby. I don't think that is asking for too much.

The Speed of Pain

I'm just having a hard day, and I could really use a hug. I won't say why I'm having a hard day, because it would be too personal on such an open forum. Just that I got my feelings hurt and I really can't wait until John comes home, so I can get a hug from him.

John and his Nephews

Here is a cute picture with John and our nephew, James. He is our only nephew in Colorado. James is Chris and Shannon's son. This picture was taken in April before we left for our trip to New York.

I forgot to mention in New York we saw Tony Danza walking in front of us on Columbus Avenue in Manhattan. I was going to take a picture, but I was too shy to do it. Our only brush with fame! Tony was walking with two other guys, and he eventually went into the ABC building. First time I ever saw a famous person up close. I don't really care for him as an actor, but it was still cool to see someone I recognized.

Here is a picture of John with our New York nephews. From left to right: Mikey & Tyler (Mike and Carolann's children) and Anthony & Christopher (Susan and Al's children).

John and I had a lot of fun hanging out with the family, and we hope next time we travel to New York we will have an addition of our own to bring along.

We're Back

Here is a picture of John, Jeanette, me, and Chrissie at Shea Stadium getting ready to go inside and watch the Mets play against the St. Louis Cardinals---final score Cardinals 4 & Mets 2 :(.

New York was so much fun! We went to a NY Mets game, as you can see from above. We also went to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY, Manhattan twice---(Central Park Zoo one day and Museum of Modern Art, lots of walking past famous buildings, Central Park--Strawberry Fields, and meeting up with our friend, Chris Calabro the next day), and spending time with family and friends. I wanted to go to Jones Beach, but we ran out of time. Next year we will go for sure and hopefully, we will have Baby Boo in tow to join us.

It was sad to say goodbye to everyone, but we know we will see them again. John and I were talking to Chris about coming out to see us in October, so it will be nice if he can.

Plus, if there is a Baby Boo born before June than we know we will be seeing others sooner. June is when we plan to come out next year, because the beaches and pools will be open.

New York was great but we can't stay forever! John and I are working on our side projects and enjoying the beautiful weather and having fun. See you all next year! We love you New York!

Happy Earth Day!!!

Today is Earth Day!!! Happy Day!!!
It is also Friday, and Boo Boo and I had a nice dinner at Rib City Grill. Afterwards, we went to Barnes and Noble to each buy a book, and we walked around the lake that is next to it. Later, we will venture to Dairy Queen for some yummy ice cream. Woohoo!!!!

Only 13 more days left to go until Boo Boo and I are New York bound!

First Anniversary has Come & Gone

Boo Boo & I just celebrated our first anniversay on Monday, April 18th. I wish I was feeling better, because I was a very crummy date. I felt like crap for most of the evening. I got my period with horrible cramps and a nasty cold. Aughhhhhh....I'm starting to feel better right now, but I'm still all stuffed up and achy. On the bright side, at least I'm not feeling this way on our trip in two weeks. :-)

In other news, I officially quit my job yesterday! I gave them my two weeks notice, and my last day will be May 4th. I'm going to focus on Monkey Mural and do what I've always wanted to do----BE AN ARTIST!!!!!

We also went to Estes Park on April 16th to spend the night in a Bed & Breakfast courtesy of Jackie. It was very nice, and we had a lot of fun!

26 More Days to Go

In a NY minute....we will be leaving at 5am in the morning on May 5th to NEW YORK!!!! We can't wait! Boo Boo and I are just counting down the days to go to visit his family, and my newly acquired family. Hard to believe that John and I have been married for almost a year. Crazy how time flies! Anyway, I will talk more about our anniversary when it comes on the 18th, and our upcoming roadtrip to NY.

The Birth of Monkey Mural

I've had my site up since Monday, and I will be posting my ad in the Columbine Courier next week. Here is an example of my ad and my Boo Boo helped a little bit with things, but I did most of the coding and such by myself.:)

Happy Easter

Today is Easter! Here is a picture of me when I was a baby on Easter morning. I'm probably close to two in this picture. I will post family pictures from today on my blog later. Boo Boo gave me a sweet Easter basket this morning. It consisted of a cute lamb that makes a noise, lots and lots of chocolate, and stickers of a baby boo girl. Very cute!:-)

April will become the month of new beginnings! I'm going to have my website up and running:

Monkey Mural

It won't be long! I'm also going to finish my wedding album and wedding video, so I'll have something to occupy my time and thoughts. I'm trying not to think so much about Baby Boo, so I can relax and get pregnant. That is my goal for the month of April, although my website will be up today or tomorrow. I really want to be pregnant when John and I go to New York, so we can spread our good news to his family. Of course, we will spread the same good news to our family before we leave. I think the arrival of an upcoming Baby Boo will make an excellent Mother's Day present for both Grandmas. That is my thought, but I'm not going to dwell on it. I don't want to overstress my body and have those thoughts interfere with getting pregnant.

Coloring Eggs

John and I decided to color Easter eggs tonight. Here is one I did of Baby Boo. We had fun! We will be going to my parent's house on Sunday to celebrate with the rest of my family minus Michael who is in Arizona right now.
Six weeks to go and John and I will be back in the New York Groove...:)

Back to the Drawing Board

At last, I have been unsuccessful again! This time around I'm going to try not to think about it. I'm going to try to distract myself with getting my business started and putting my wedding album together. It is very hard for me to wipe my mind of the consuming thoughts of pregnancy, but I will try. I'll just have to see what happens. I just don't know what else to do.

It Has Been a While...

I haven't written a Blog for 2 weeks! I finished the baby room on the 12th of March, and I'm now just waiting to see if I'm pregnant. I give up trying to guess what my body is feeling because each month it is something different. I always think I might be because of the signs I experienced but I always end up with my period. I'm struggling here between hating my job and trying to get pregnant. I so desperately need some good news. My dad definitely needs to hear some good news! I would love to be able to give that to him, because I need some hope.

I know I have been very sad lately, and I'm driving John crazy with all of my crying. I just feel so sick inside! I don't even want to go to work anymore and the thought of going makes me want to throw up. I hate it there so much, and I can't deal with these people anymore. I can't think of time going by, during the day, where I want to go up to my boss and say that I quit. My heart is breaking, and I know it sounds lame but it is true. I need help!!!

Making Progress....

Here I am painting the future baby's room. No, I'm not pregnant yet, but I want to have a completed baby room ahead of time. Knowing a few pregnant women in my life, I know decorating a baby's room can be very hard, especially if you have morning sickness & just don't feel very good. The walls will be complete but the furniture won't come until I definitely know I'm pregnant.
However, I do have a cradle set-up in the room. It was my cradle when I was a baby.

Anyway, I have made a lot of progress, and I should be completely done by Saturday. All I have to do is finish the sunset by the lighthouse, paint some flowers for the Spring wall, and detail anything that might need it.
Yay, I'm so glad I'm almost done. I started this mural the end of August, and I just kept putting it off for too long. Not anymore! :)

Cute Picture

I received this picture in an e-mail, and I thought it was the cutest thing. It is how I feel most of the time---I just want to relax! :)

Today, I'm going to work on finishing up the mural in the baby's room. I think once it is offically done, I will have one less thing to stress about. Having less stress is important when it comes to getting pregnant!

In other news, John is working on finishing last minute details with his game, so he can release it on Monday. Yay for Boo Boo! I think it looks really cool, and I hope people will like it.
